I have been going through MouthShut for most of the things I have bought for my house. My wife & I finally decided to go for a car after months of deliberation.I was looking for: good mileage & reliable car. I had the following in mind-Indica Xeta, Spark LS, Wagon R LXi and Alto LXi.
Indica Xeta: My dad drives one; so I know this pretty well. A very big and spacious car. But I was put off with its mileage
Spark: I don’t see a lot of these in Bangalore. I came across a few reviews that all wasnt well on the mileage part.
Wagon R: I rated this highly, but my wife was not its fan. So we cancelled this.
That left us with Alto. We know how good it was for its mileage. After a test drive, I decided this was it. For just me & my wife, and an occasional relative or friend; this was the best bet. I don’t use A/C in Bangalore. Probably when I drive to Chennai, will be useful.
I booked the car today at Pratham Motors, Bangalore. I went for the Silver. I will be getting it in one week’s time. The accessories will have to wait till I lay hands on it.
