Well, some strong points to be considered if you are deciding to buy an ALTO LXI
Fuel Efficiency: 9/10, considering that in a city like Mumbai you got to do three things break/honk/acclerate a little bit toooo often, and compared to any other car its is at least 30% more fuel efficient.
Pickup: Being a small car, and the lightest in its category, you would love to zoom it across on busy mumbai streets or on the highways, you need to know how to drive your baby and believe me, it serves you very well. On a cool winter morning take your alto from mumbai to say upto VAPI and zig zag across the big trucks or the big cars, c the difference, well dont keep the ac on, you know its 796 cc car.
You could push upto 140 Km/hr on the straight stretches(don’t try it on curves). It surely gives the city or the lancer a run for their money, (it hurts a lot when a small car zips them pass at 130) and you have this incredible braking always at your discretion.
Power Steering: Excellent!
AC: too good, chills you down very fast.
Headlights: Excellent, but still if you are a night crawler you need some more, maybe foglights, thats the negative area, doesn’t have space for them.
Overall: I am too happy for my car, its almost 3.5 years now and still its so cute and firm, except for the space crunch(i mean, but we know its supposed to be a small car, you cant have space for the earth in there!) excellent control, top speed, more than avg fuel efficiency, goodgrip and control, smarty looks, hey what else do you need with 300K in your pockets, its worth it, get one today and lets race on mum - ahm highway! -
