The Maruti Alto VX, another car from the maruti stable but certainly not like the other ones. It has got muscular and appealing looks. The engine in the VX 1.1 is very powerful and gives a good acceleration which can even give the mid size cars a run for the money. The AC is far better than the Zen, Santro, IKON and Honda. The cabin cools instantly even when the car is parked in 42 degrees. I have the car from September 29, 2000 (the day it was launched) and it gives me very good mileage it runs 300 kms in 16.5 litres with the AC on. The car is perfect to drive in the city and also on the highway. It can be driven with as much confidence as a mid size car even at the speeds of 140 km/hr. But the only thing missing in the car is the space in the back where people with height more than 5’2’’ will be finding difficulty to fit in. If u can handle that and there is no other car which can give u all this at such a price
