This was my first car and with a tight budget to play with the Alto was one of my few options. I must confess I went for this more for the price than for the car in itself. But this car truly redeemed itself.
Beautiful Maneuverability, smooth drive, comfy seats, and a saving mileage were part of this cars arsenal.
I bought it for about 3.3L and had to put in another 50K to spruse it up. New sleek seat covers, a neat deck, tint for the windows and some woofers had this baby lookin all classy.
This cannot be compared with the Skoda’s and the Optra’s but it does make a standing in its own segment.
This car has served me well for a year now. Great service from Maruti dealers with the company calling me up from Gurgaon to ask about the car has added to the experience.
in short this car has all u can hope for at that price. A good AC, power steering (Lxi), n sleek head n tail lights.
A downfall (which was unavoidable) is that with the AC on the car just about craws over climbs. Another fallback is that the body is ver weak. A hard punch wud dent the body.
All in all a great buy. Power steering is a must. Get a good deack n u have a great car on ur hands.......
