Hi I purchased Alto LXI (which comes with A/c and power steering ) . The great thing about Alto is it is a product of Maruti Udyog Ltd. because it is the largest car seller in India and who is known for the revolution in automobile industry by launching Maruti 800 . By this I want to tell you about that you can get the service everywhere in India and spare parts easily and at very cheap rate .
My experince with alto is great in this 4 months . I love my Alto . It provide me the great power , pick-up , managable boot space , comfortable front and back seats , great mileage , good ride quality , great handling , great braking . My Alto gives me an average of 15-16.5 kmpl in city with a/c on , and on highways 21-22 kmpl with a/c on .
I would like to inform the first time car buyers that it is the best bet which alto offers you if your budget is very limited and who is going for 800 then you can have the standard model which is non-a/c . And the person going for zen only for power steering comfort and good a/c , then he can go for alto lxi . or as per your budget .
Every coin has two sides , the only thing I miss is that in lxi model maruti should offer central locking and other accesories like body colour bumpers etc. to diffranciate the models , now in std. model there in no a/c . in lx only a/c, and in lxi only a/c and powersterring . when the a/c is on there is little bit problem in 1st and 2nd gears to pick up , but it is obious that how 800 cc power plant can give that much , but it didn’t trobble me .
