I bought my new Alto K10 Vxi on 2nd of August 2012( sunlight copper color) at Coimbatore from ABT Maruti dealer. The car was registered one day before delivery and it was happily handed over to all my family members because it is my first car. Actually I was planning to take EOn, but due to gear rod vibration, I changed my idea at the last moment.
I spent one week in local city for fixing extra accessories ran around 150 Kms. I planned for a pilgrimage along with my family from Coimbatore to Velankanni. I requested my best friend to drive the car because he is a good driver and owning different cars. After filling fuel and changing tire’s air with Nitrogen Gas, we started our journey to test the cars performance.
Throughout the journey we run the car with full AC as my friend doesn’t want the interiors dusty. But the pick up was excellent. In the highways the running was very smooth. When he crosses 100 KMPH, I remembered him to reduce the speed as it was not completed its first service. The AC was very cool, even at back sheet also they felt cold.
We traveled 400 KMS with a small break at one place. After Tanjavore the road was very horrible, there only we felt the jerks and not able to run fast. Small cars are not suitable to that kind of roads.
Next day we returned back to Coimbatore. Totally the distance covered was 800 KMS and I spent around 40 Ltrs of fuel and it gave me an average of 20 Km/Ltr mileage with full AC before the first service. We feel very happy. My friend who drove the car said that this car was excellent to drive with very good pick-up.
The service back up by the dealer is very good. One day before they informed us that they will send their driver to take the car to the first-service. Next day the driver came at 8:30 Am and took the car and after service it was delivered to home. Small complaints were rectified in the service.
Now I am in abroad, my wife only driving this car happily.
