I bought it cause mom always wanted a car.her own car:)
So when I was going thru this buying process thr r few things in my mind.
A. Reliable .always to opt with big boys in car market( Maruti or Hyundai.)
B. Value for money
C. Small car yet no compromise on space
D. Kitna deti haii .(mileage) as I hav plans for long trips
E. In a conflict betwn petrol ND diesel.finally decided with petrol.
F. Should get all most all current features and with a good engine.
After all those criteria.(sorry if I missed.) Few cars came to my attention.

Rejected cause.
Swift.too many on roads.old model.fuel consumption.
Brio. Over priced.
Grand i10 .2nd gear problem and ac.as I read.
Datson go. Never heard and customer support/center r rare.new in market.
Wagon R. I hate the boxy looks. Other than that everything is good not at all a highway runner.
Beat .diesel after 2 years and reviews of quality from GM.horrified
Left with i10 nd celerio
Later caught my eyes.
I dug deep and found that it borrowed all the goodies from big brother swift and wagonr.
Never really impressed by the auto shifts as I like manual shifts as I believe, I can shift faster:P
So after a strong mind I bought it.
After 5 months here is my review
Took three long trips of 700kms, 400kms etc.
*looks:*
Front.gives a feel of big broad car.sedan like.big chrome smiling.big glass windows
Broad lights . Looks right
Side profile is cool as it has some eco curves or lines running
Back.so so.wont complain
*engine**: K10B or they r calling k10Next .sum tuning on the former successful k10 with drive by wire and with electronic accelerator pedal.in all performance+ low wt+ fuel economic.
It revs hard when pushed. Strong low and mid range.awesome for city as well as open roads
Ride: good.comfortable.on medium speeds handles ruff roads well.
Steering is light bt stiffens as u go 80+
I opted for VXI nd m happy with 14inch wheels
*Space** good or u can call it vry gud. Big boot as I hav carried my cargos nd suitcases whn I shifted. Leg room in back seat is too good.
3 adults can sit easily.no compromised on legroom as it is only 250mm shorter in length than swift
Reliable: as it is from maruti suzuki family
Mileage: getting 16kmpl in city with AC nd above 20kmpl on highway. Difference is a bit long cause I m frequent on accel.
Servicing nd network: m satisfied as 2 service center are nearby nd loads of accessories nd parts are easily available.:)
No problems till now mind don’t go too much off road as ground clearance is 270mm not that great.
Driving on long roads is fun nd easy. 145kmph is the max I went in it.nd the car is planted on road with still juice left but its always good to stay in limits. Can never think of doing the same with wagonr LOL:P
M happy with wat maruti gave as a package nd happy with Modi ji with lowering petrol rate:)
