I write this from a short ride, not as an owner. what I saw was foll
Model diesel 1.3 ltr, 7 seater. 5 speed manual. Top model of ertiga.
First the negatives,
1. The interiors are ’just normal, so-so’, mainly to keep the cost down.
2. Front two seats are comfy but the rear 2 rows, all 5 seats are cramped and downright uncomfortable, the last 3rd row both seats are hard to get in or exit and have zero leg space even for short guys, so I will call them ’child seats’, family needs to be on a crash-diet to enter the last row.
3. A huge negative is the zero luggage space if you don’t fold down the 3rd row seats. then it becomes a 5-seater.
4. Underpowered diesel feel during pick up till the turbocharger kicks in at 2500 RPM. so highway drives are good, but city stop lights are bad.
5. Not a premium product feel for the family at all.
some positives-
1. good tall boy feel for short drivers, good road view and ease of entry to front seats.
2. fuel economy is excellent.
3. a value for money product from maruti, with a good reliable engine and service network.
OVERALL- average product with an average price. I will wait for the tweaks before buy.
