Maruti Esteem in my opinion is what I call a thoko pito car, Haa I remember the day I firs tried to drive this fall in love again wala new version and the moment I took reverse in very own filmi style with all that horse sound like ihihihihihihihihii eeeejjjj and then I banged into the main gate of the building reversing. BAD dent got in the back and my dad was looking like This girl is just too much.
Actually I am no too much but I am just thoda Nut Khatt, my mom says chal hat niut khatt, ok now let me review the car or else you will say that I drifted from the topic and as usual you will find a reason to rate me NU and hit me in the comments section.
Maruti Esteem is our new car and it is a nice family car. I am talking about the new version that is the new Maruti All New Esteem one. 5 people can sit in comfort and still the car has enough power as in something called 1300 cc which gives 85 bhp. Now you will tell me I am so nice to put such hifi technical funda into my review btw I simply copied it from another review written on the same topic.. Now I dunno what does CC means I feel it is Carbon Copy but in Car engine thingy it might be different right.
So I was talking about the drive power it is good in straights as well as hiegts. The Air conditioner cools well and you dont feel garmi at all. The gear shift of the car is smooth till the 3rd gear but I find it awkward from then...It somehow didnt do well at hi speedss....
You know the car is fast and when I drive it my family starts praying about our well being and Dhananjay who acts so smart being all macho and all he also gets frightened hehe.
I remember one day I drove this car fast and Dhananjay was sitting beside me, I have the license he doesnt and then there is this few groups of Goonda Mawali guys on there sidey black phatphatis, Pulsars and Hero Honda making dhad dhad dhad dhad sounds came beside us, clearly such goondas should be treated with me banging car into them and throwing them off the road but I cannot do it other wise I will get Hanged. So I drove this Maruti Esteem fast and from 2nd gear till 3rd it was smooth then it was a bit tough and the power steering in the top gear was shaking so I also felt darr types.
Now coming on to the colors, we have this Cashmere color car back home and there are other colors as well like Black, White and Silver. Pricing is all that I can tell you is we bought it at 5 lac + like registration and all. Rest all I dunno.
Now the car is safe and one fine day I dreamt that Car is frightened of me driving it otherwise it drives perfectly. Coming onto internals of the cars, I dont like the upholstery of the seats they are cheap. I mean they say come fall in love all again and how can some one fall for such sidey upholstery it looked like Some Cheap kapda from Chor Bazaar of Delhi that Maruti has put up to save costs. Cheapo.
Car high end version comes with a MP3 player and 2 speakers at the back, they are nice I played some nice songs in it and before that Dhananjay made me mad , he played all the full volume and made it so loud that I almost slapped him to close it .
Overall a good car and you can use it nicely not like me who uses it like a Thoko Pito hence my dad bought me a Active instead...Sob sob I also wanna drive it but right now I am riding fast in my activa.
