Maruti Suzuki has launched the latest addition to its Nexa lineup - the Ignis today. Positioned below the Baleno, the prices start from Rs 4.59 lakh mark ( ex-showroom, Delhi) .
Engine options on the Ignis include the 84PS 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and the 75PS 1.3-litre DDiS190 engine. Both engines can be had with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
Highlights include LED Projector headlamps with daytime running lamps, 15-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system ( with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Navigation) , and automatic climate control. The Maruti Ignis will go up primarily against the Mahindra KUV100, Hyundai Grand i10, and its own sibling - the Maruti Suzuki Swift.
