The Maruti omni is one of the most looked down upon four wheeler...some reasons being that it is much cheaper than the
fundu ones like the Matiz or Santro. But let me tell u something , I have been driving the onmi for 7 years now and as far as reliability is concerned I wud trust it with my life!
Our omni ’’rampyaari’’ as we call it is a part of our family!..after all she has been with us for the last 7 years.
I love her very very much. it has taken us to safety when we were in trouble many a times.
so I am kind of attached to it and refuse to part with it.
The efficiency is good, 8 people can sit ...now isnt that a lot of people...
and it can be packed in with a phenomenal amount of luggage!!!
The only problem with this vehicle is the front portion does not offer any safety at all...but then all you have to be is careful to avoid getting into such a situation!!!!
The driving position is one problem as it does not have bucket seats which can be a problem if one is driving for a long time.
Inspite of all this I wud definitely recommend this vehicle as a good buy, and getting ur moneyz worth.
