Small but Spacious

Hi guys. I bought Maruti Ritz in 2011 when I just started going to college. To much research was involved before I bought the car. I test drove many car like i20, Swift, wagonR, Beat and i10 before choosing Ritz. Ritz have a very spacious and modern Interior with minimalistic complications in design. Although It lacks cup holders and no bottle holders in the rear doors makes this car not so good for many people. The engine is really powerful as compared to other cars in the market. It output is 85 bhp which is above most of the cars in this segment. The LXi model doesn’t comes with many features like Stereo, Power windows, ABS and Airbags. But never mind you can get everything installed at very nominal price from the car showroom itself. In this way car gets customized the way you like it. The waterfall Dashboard is what I liked the most about the car. It gives you feeling that you are driving a bigger car. The top Speed of the car is 160kmph+ as tested by me on Yamuna Expressway which I guess is more than enough for Indian Roads and situation. The ride quality is comfy and easily dodges pot holes. Till date no engine issues has come up but an irritating noise is coming from the front fork, the mechanic said its all because of bad roads that your front fork is vibrating and making noise.

After 58000 Km done, the car’s engine, the car itself and the interiors are in very good shape. I like Ritz because I have used it. If anyone wants to buy a small hatchback for a family of 4 or 5 this is a perfect budget car with great ride comfort and quality. The boot is not that big but large enough to store 2 Large Suitcases. The car is good for weekend rides and city rides Giving average is 12 kmpl in city and 15 on the highway.
