Since bieng more than two weeks since I git new Rtiz. Its diesel VDi. The car is good for a city like Mumbai as it is easy drive on congested road.
Looks: The front of the car is really good. I somehow didnt like the back. The sides look great and its realy sexy.
Interior & Display panel: The interior is totaly changed and quit different from other maruti cars. There are quite few drawers to keep your belongings. Two dashboard drawers, an open space between the two, another opening right below stereo(if you are using only single din stereo) and drawer on the top of dashboard.
The driving panle is totaly different. At first you feel that it has only speedometer and no other indication. The circular speedometer and its surroundings make you feel that there are no other indications. Maruti has done great job by putting small’icons’ surrounding the speedometer for temp, seat belt warnings, door open, fuel indicator etc. the speedometer has inbuilt digital clock, with km run and two trip mode. it also has outside temp indicator.
Seating comfort: The front seats are quite comfortable and provide ample space for back seat. however a tall person may have problem on back seat. the back seat can be collapsed to make boot larger. some how I feel that back is little cramp comapre to swift.
AC: the ac is quite good and provides good cooling. I dont have any complain for the ac. there are four blowers, as usual, two in front(middle) and two on sides.
Now Driving: its a sheer pleasure the dirve ritz. You cannot feel that you are driving a diesel car. the placement of gear stick is superb. I will give 100 marks to maruti for that. It is so convinient that you dont feel anything when you change gears. its just smoothly moves the way you want. I have drove many cars but no car has such a convineint location of gear stick. the pick up is excellent and brakes are good too.
Mileage: I got mileage of abt 14 kmpl and this what dealers(vitesse & sai service) had promised. I think its little less for diesel car when indica and swift gives in the range of 18 or so. but no regrets.
Cons: the price. the price is too much for the size of the car. the swift also cost almost same or little less. it cost abt 5.8lac on road in mumbai with power windows and central locking, no other accessories. no stereo or keyless entry(autocop).
overall its good car with little high price. a good car for city with good millage.
