S-Cross is big enough for a compact SUV, but overall proportions are such that it looks more like a large hatchback. The similarities to the SX4 sedan are pretty evident though this crossover looks a lot more premium. The big headlamps dominate the front, along with the chrome grille. Certain elements like the silver front bash plate, chiselled bumper and roof rails give the S-Cross a rugged look. Maruti has put in a lot of effort to make the S-Cross interior look premium. It gets the all-black treatment in line with its sporty image. This versions have plenty of features like push-button start, cruise control, touch-screen music system, navigation, leather seats, auto headlamps, reverse parking camera and sensors.
Maruti offers the S-Cross with the choice of two diesel engines. The 1.3-litre turbocharged DDiS 200 with the power rating of 90bhp and 200Nm and Suzuki is also introducing the 1.6-litre turbocharged DDiS 320 with this car, which is tuned to produce 120bhp and 320Nm of torque.
