Though the appeal and look is good of the new Dezire but the engine is lagging in performance. I own a VDI model. the engine doesn’t give a good throttle, it comes to life only at 2000 RPM. The interiors are good but the leg room sucks. The mileage in the city is no where comparative to the company claim and gives an average of 15 in the standard traffic conditions.
Coming to the comfort, the older version is good in terms of seating and leg room. the back seat is comfortable for two and the mid passenger will be cramped unless he/she is a kid.
