I have booked my swift dzire vxi on 25th Sept’09 at rks motors, Hyderabad, and was told i would get car in 2 months but they never stuck to the committed date, rather asked me to make full payment. After paying full payment, they told me that car would be delivered with in 2 weeks. Though i paid full payment on 23rd jan 2010, but they kept on extending the delivery date by saying your desired color is not available, hence getting delayed. Then i lost my patience and sent a mail to maruti, contact@maruti.co.in. Yesterday (18/02) , i have received email from maruti, that my concern was forwarded to the appropriate cell and would be resolved.
Today, suprisingly i got a call from my dealer and said, "your car is ready to be delivered, you can take any time". I was so amazed with his call. The same guy told me 2 days ago that at least, it would take 15 days to deliver my car, i., e 1st week of march’2010.
Eventually, today evening i have received my car and my family is so happy.
Just, as i am going through reviews, i fortunately happened to see your experience.
Kindly help me how can i get the interest payment back ?
Please see my payments as follows.
1).rs.50, 000/- paid on dt.24-09-2009
2).rs.2, 00, 000/- paid on dt.15-01-2010
3).rs.4, 47, 645-00 paid on dt. 23-01-2010 total paid amount. Rs. 6, 97, 645-00 to my unfortunate, the car price was increased from rs.5.63, 000-00 to rs.6, 00, 000/- since my booking date, because of maruti price hike in Jan, and AP govt vat hike from 12 to 14%, and life tax hike from 9 to 12%. Unnecessarily i had to pay rs37, 000/- excess, because of this delay.
Of course Maruti price hike is some how worthy. You may have a doubt, why did i pay rs.7, 00, 000/- since the car price was only rs.6, 00, 000-00. Because, my company has increased the minimum interest free loan to employees from rs.1, 00, 000/- to rs.2, 00, 000/-.
