I’ve a VXI for last 3 months. Here are a few points in a nutshell if you want to purchase swift -
1. If you are driving, it’s the car for you - if not, take another car.
2. Boot space relatively small w.r.t other cars.
3. Have provision for 4 speakers, if you are planning to put JBL or something like that - the rare speaker place won’t help you.
4. Mileage , first few months don’t expect more than 10 in city drive (bangalore) without AC.
5. If you are really tall , say about 6 ft 2 inches (:-)) you have an issue - but this is the best small car available - so no choice.
6. Body is relatively of softer meterial, prone to dents.
Now, why I bought -
1. Drop dead look.
2. Great dashboard and interiors. Feels good to drive it.
3. Cool pickup from 3rd gear.
4. Low turning radius, noise, vibration, great relaxing drive.
5. I always drive.
So far, only issue I faced is I stopped the engine on a slope - where the brakes didn’t work. I had to use handbreak to avoid accident. It was my mistake.
