Maruti Suzuki Swift is a big scam. I purchased a Maruti Swift ZDi on December 22nd. It is a poor quality car.
A gentle drizzle and you will have water inside the car with all the windows rolled up.
The engine oil started leaking on day 2 - I took the car to the service station and they said that only the clamp was leak and they have tightened it - two days later engine oil starts leaking again.
The rear power window to the right gets jammed on day 6; I take the car to the service station and the mechanic tells me that the their is some defect in the motor.
The paint is so poor quality that you rub the body a little hard with a cleaning cloth and you can feel the paint peeling off.
Plastic is poor quality and you can hear strange noises even on the first day of your drive of a new car; somehow they manage to keep the noises down in test drives.
I have paid 7, 15, 000 for the car. I regret it. I am planning to go to the consumer court to get my money back.
I had an Alto k 10 earlier - very poor quality car and I had to spend a lot of money on getting power windows serviced so many times, the back shockers had to be replaced within a year; the front left arm of the Axel had to be changed after year and a half - and I drive on smooth roads in the city only with most of the times two people seated.
Maruti Suzuki India are making defective and poor quality vehicles, and they are selling it on the pretext:
We have too many service stations: Of course it means that you need to take your car to service every week, even when it is a brand new car.
We offer excellent resale: If you are buying a car with a hope to resell it you wont make any profits - you end up spending a lot to get it serviced time and again.
Excellent mileage: That is a scam. There are better cars these days with much better mileage.
