The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the long awaited entry for Maruti into the compact SUV segment. The new SUV is currently only available with a diesel engine but will soon get a petrol engine, an automatic transmission and even an all-wheel-drive variant soon. The new compact SUV returns fuel economy of 24.3kmpl which is quite impressive considering the fact that the Brezza is not exactly a small car.
On the exterior design side, the new Brezza gets daytime running lights, projector headlmamps and LED tail lights. The Brezza also gets a smart chrome grille and a set of large 16-inch wheels. The new Brezza also gets a distinct floating roof concept which means that a two tone paintjob is possible. The Brezza will be available with six different colors, with three of them, the Blazing Red, Fiery Yellow and Cerulean Blue offered with a two tone option on the top of the line ZDi variant ( red with black roof/yellow or blue with white roof) . In terms of engines, the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza gets a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that makes 90PS of peak power and 200Nm of peak power.
The Brezza will get a 5-speed manual gearbox and will be mated to a front wheel drive setup. As we mentioned earlier, the Vitara Brezza will return 24.3kmpl mileage or fuel economy figures. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is available in six variants, LDi, LDi optional, VDi, VDi optional, ZDi and the top of the line ZDi . The Vitara Brezza goes up against the likes of the Ford Ecosport and the Mahindra TUV300. Expect the Vitara Brezza to be one of the best selling cars in India in the near future. READ LESS
