The Vitara Brezza is Maruti Suzuki’s fighter in the compact SUV segment and it proved to be runaway success for the manufacturer. Launched in March last year, the Vitara Brezza helped Maruti Suzuki foray into the UV segment in India. It has been selling an average of 8000 vehicles every month between the period of March and December. It sold more than 85, 000 units in that period and still has a waiting of around four to five months which even extends to seven months depending on the variants. The Indo-Japanese carmaker also has increased the production to 10, 000 units from previous 8, 000 units in August, owing to the increasing waiting period for the Vitara Brezza.
