I own wagon R lxi CNG 2014 model. After doing lot of research and going through lot of reviews I decided to choose wagon R over i10 going against my Hyundai fan friend. Though main reason going for Wagon R over i10 was it comes with company fitted CNG kit lxi green. It is my first car and it’s been around a year and I have driven for around 7k kilometers.
This car perfectly fits, if you have family of 4 and you take out car very now and then mostly within city like Mumbai. I had mostly used this car within Mumbai and it really gives you peace of mind. Driving cost per kilometer is actually as good as driving 150 bike that too with ac on in Mumbai’s hot and humid weather. You couldn’t ask more than that.
However I have driven it on Mumbai Pune express way quite a few times now. You do feel like slowing down a bit once you shoot above 120 km/hr. But you can drive comfortably and confidently within 100 - 120 km/hr speed. Surprisingly thane to Pune journey takes around 500 rs with ac on and with four people sitting in. No complaints so far got good service from navneet motors thane. Although service centre is over crowded on weekends. I prefer getting service done in weekdays.
Overall I think I made right choice going for wagon R over i10 but one may miss the elegance and features in i10. But Wagon R is definitely value for money and easy for pocket.
