My wife brought VXi (petrol only) model home in Oct 2010. Ever since, apart from daily chores like shopping & school drop & pickups we have been on long drives upto 400 kms (one way) with two kids & my father, ridden the car on unfinished crude mountain roads, tested the a/c in scorching Mumbai / Pune / Nashik heat and all in all we are more than happy. I’m 6’2" tall & my wife 5’10". The kind of leg room & head room we get from this car at this price is unparalleled. Most important is getting in & out of it is very easy for any age given its higher seating.
Mileage has been 16~18 kmpl in city & 18~20 kmpl outside. Music quality of the prefit deck is good though inbuilt USB is absent.
Sluggish pick-up makes it an over takers’ nightmare even in non-a/c mode. The tyres lose air pressure every now & then. And the car knocks considerably at 1st to 2nd gear shift. We wish we had a lil more boot space also!
So if u r a family animal, not too much into showing off or a speedophile, then you wanna take her home for sure. Go ahead!
