I am writing this review 2 years after we bought the car. We had done alot of research on various small segment cars but Waganor didnt figure anywhere in our research. However we just followed my Husband’s Brother-In-Law and decided to buy WagonR Duo(When it was still know as an LPG Variant of WagonR) we were one of the first customers of the LPG Variant we chose to buy it with no proven history to its credit.
And two years later I must say we own the best car in the small car segment as it has served our purpose completely, at that time we were very concerend about the fuel economy as my husband travelled nearly 60 kms a day and we could not have afforded to spill on fuel.
We extensively use both the LPG and Petrol to balance our fule expenditure though the LPG price keeps varying every now and then it is still much cheaper than petrol. One thing I must say is that we have compelety recovered the extra amount that we spent for a LPG Variant. Thanks to the Duo technology.
We compromised on space big time but since space is not a priority for people who use the car for travel within the city its just fine to compromise.No regrets:-)
Things to be noted
A great car for a small family of 4 + a kid
Quite economic until the LPG prices dont out beat the petrol prices
Though not luxurious its comfortable
Tall drivers have to think abut on leg spacing
A good Drive within the city
Mileage of 14 in the city with A/C on petrol and 12- 14 on LPG
Compromise on boot space
Good service from Maruti
