Maruti WagonR (PRIMEA) - Great value for money

This is my first post on my first vehicle.

I was in search for a

small car within a budget of about 3.5-4.5 Lakhs, Fuel efficient, Low

Maintenance, a bit luxurious. Also a car which would be comfortable on

long drives.

To my luck, Maruti’s Launch of WagonR’s limited edition(Primea) coincided with my decision to go in for car.

I purchased a WagorR Primea in Dec-2005 and since then have been

driving it in city and highways. As of now in about 2.5 Years, I have

driven 50000 Kms. WagonR is a fun to ride in cities and on highways.

Driving on highways is a fun and the car is also quiet stable, I think

much attributed to its Alloy Wheels that came as a standard fitment

from Maruti in this. I was told by some persons that Alloy Wheels would

consume more fuel and there were othes who claimed that it would infact

add to the fuel efficiency. I am not sure which team to join, but it

gves me an average of about 12.5 to 13 Km/L in city and about 16-17Km/L

on highways, of which I am quiet satisfied.

I have driven my car through different terrains and it has passed

the test everytime. I have been to many different places like Solapur,

Kolhapur, Shirdi, Konkan, Nanded, Hampi(Karnataka), Bangalore

(Karnataka), Gangapur(karnataka) and it has always been fun. Also

driving on highways has always been comfortable, but drive only with 4

persons.

Regular servicing at Powai Auto Works, Mumbai has kept my car in

good condition even after 50000 Kms. They are good chaps. The beige

interiors and the keyless entry feature add to the class.

All in all it has been a good experince with WagonR and even Maruti.

Maruti’s service centers are efficient and good.

I would recommend a WagonR.
