I have done almost 1000 km and first service, the Gear shift from 4 to 5 is much better now and checked fuel average. With half time a/c / heater ON, it gave me 13.5 Kms of average per liter in city conditions. cheers!!!,
Can some one suggest me standard music system and also should I go in for back speakers or stick to front 2, Tx
Thanks folks for all the Gyan!!
I bought a Wagon R Lxi (Passion red) a month back and am very satisfied with its performance
Did lot of R&D and comparision - my options were
a) Santro - The car drive was OK, but I was not very comfortable with drive also the foot rest bothered me, missed the feel while driving, felt bit cramped also
b) Indica Xeta - all was good, but I felt bit heavy to drive as compared to Santro, since it was my first car was keen to have a handy car
c) Wagon R - was initially not very keen, but had decided that I will take a test drive all cars before deciding after all experiencing is beliving rather that seeing. During test drive my perception changed, the car was smooth, had good pick up, engine was smooth (tested with and with out AC) and the electronic power steering was just too good, from a drivers perspective, also A/c was powerful, I thought that it was important to get a good feel while one drives each time and believe me the Wagon R did not let you me down here. Its also very silent, many a time I wonder whether engine is on or off. I felt it was more spacious also (especially the head space, for a tall person like me) Pick up is fantastic, manoverability is excellent, though gear shift from 4th to 5th is an issue.
I did my first servicing and have to yet check the average. have driven approx 500km till date.
I believe its very good first car (as it was for me). Although bit expensive than santro or Xeta, I found it to be very good for small premium. Happy reading!!
