We had bought a Wagon R from the local authorized dealer(Shantesha Motors) at Belgaum in June 05. we happened to have blind faith in the dealer and they too were very sweet untill the delivery of the car was made. A day later I found out that, the car sold to me was manufactured in DECEMBER 04 & when I took up the issue with the dealer he said it wont make a difference and that they would consider the date it was sold to us if we went in for a exchange. A year later in May 06 the swift was launched and I went in for a exchange with the same dealer. It was then that he told us that since the car was manufactured in 2004 it would be evaluated as a2 year old car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I then wrote to the company in disgust and was all the more disgusted with the company for they failed to reply to me. Two months later I sold off the car and vowed never to buy a maruti again. SO GUYS JUST CHECK ALL THE PAPER WORK BEFORE DELIVERY AND DONT BELIEVE THE CHEATING DEALERS AND THE COMPANIES.
