I have a wagonR since last 2years. I LOVE it.
done 38, 000 kms.
mileage 11kms(A/c on), 12.5 kms (a/c off) CITY
mileage 15kms(A/c on), 17 kms (A/c off) HIGHWAY
no major problems till date. one servics costs around 1500-2500 bucks.
spares are cheap and no major maintenance issues.

i’ve owned a wagonR for the last two years. when I first decided to buy it, I wanted the zen, which I thought would be a better choice. but back then zen was not available as it was being revamped into the one it is today and I also thought that since I live in a family of 4 people - I have a bro and my parents that a bigger looking car would be better !
guys, this car rocks ! its as light as a feather to handle. its a great car, nice engine, so smooth that u cant even hear it. its the typical japanese car - no noise, no pollution, no maintenance. just turn it on and drive it. end of story.
for a car which is somewhat taller than the average car, you’d think it’d be heavier, bulkier or atleast take more space on the road. but its JUST taller and no more than that. the dimensions except the height are similar to the zen.
interiors are nice and simple, just like maruti should be. performance is excellent, no maintenance probs, pickup and top speeds are excellent. like i’ve crossed 150kmph on the DND toll road and pickup is as good as it gets. handling is also very slick and smooth and braking is a breeze. you can stop the car in just 5secs if u wanted to, and NO kidding ! suspension is also very good and the car can survive most bumpy rides with ease.
now to the drawbacks, since I am no maruti salesman ! since its no sedan dont expect the smoothness and gearshift of one. seats are comfortable but it feels more like a box at times. also interiors are very basic and NO ABS !
moral of the story, if u want a nice car which u can use to get to your office, take your family, as well as travel someplace far away then this is the perfect car for you. if you want an out and out performance car then drop the idea. also this is no sports car. its a total UTILITY product meant for people who want to reach places, and wont calculate the statistics involved in the process.
its value for money, and inspite of looking big inside its small outside. its just tall not wide nor does it take too much space. its pretty much perfect.
