Bought this car in June 2008. Had gone in to pick up the LXI variant, but the features and price difference to that of VXI made me choose the later. It’s not the greatest of cars, but surely is in its segment. The fuel efficiency is very good at an avg of 17kmpl, and so is the ride comfort. However it is a typical city car and it doesn’t dissapoint you at all with its features. It’s the best buy within the 3.5 to 4.5 price bracket. Also the added advantage is the Maruti network, and after sales support.
I just wish that Maruti does something about the wheel & body size ratio, which could make the car more stable at higher speeds. The AC is quite good and responsive, but takes away quite a lot of power from the car. Maruti needs to devise a way of fixing rear speakers without having to compromise the rear seats folding option.
Overall, I am pretty satisfied from this car.
