I sold my Estilo after driving 16, 000 KMs as twice Axcel got changed, Gear shift became exceptionally bad & rear shockers hardened. On the top this model was discontinued by Maruti only after 2.5 years of launching. Now I have Vista for which I’ve written seperate review.This is my 3rd review about Zen Estilo VXI Bright Red on MS. After driving till Nainital drom GGN 750Kms, here are my observations.
Latest Observations
Mileage:- I drove 750 Kms with 70% AC on, Extremly Bad Roads at Gaziabad, driving in 2nd or Max. 3rd Gear(60 Kms) in total 38 liters of Petrol on NH 24. Got 18.32 KMPL. This time 2 Heavy size Adults, 2 ladies, 2 small kids (so 2 families with loads of luggage of ours & our babies). This mileage is again without following Maruti Recomendation. (I drove up 130 KMPH for 680 KMS & 70 Kms of Mountain areas at 50KMPH). Better roads would have given more mileage. Door Speakers did a pretty good job again. Locally I am still getting 14-15 KMPL with mixture of AC on & off. Over all very good control, comfortable.
Sound:- Engine was soundless even if I was at 120 & car was never begging to stop. In fact I kept calm as I don’t have ABS on my Car. Balance was brilliant. No Vibrations.
Since few days, doors, & EORVMs have started making a bit of sound like Thad..... Specially Right ORVM is shaking with sound when I close the door. Will get it checked from Maruti. Elbow room still an issue. Now my 4 month old daughter’s feet get a bit stuck with my elbow. So 2 ppl complaint about it ;).
Sometimes feel that Suspension could have been a bit smooth for more comfort. But not a major issue.
Overall I am a very Happy customer of Zen Estilo & a bit sad as Maruti is upgrading Zen Estilo with Face lift, with A Star 1000 CC, 3 Cylinder engine. So to meet Emmission norms Maruti has decided to upgrade. Soon same will happen for Wagon R as well. Also Swift may also come with Ritz BS 4 engine. I am eagerly waiting for SX4 diesel as that will be my next car. Lets keep watching more from Maruti.
