Marvel’s Inhumans is the newest tv show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is created by scott buck(also created the lackluster Iron Fist for Netflix) and stars Anson Mount(Black Bolt), Serinda Swan(Medusa), Iwan Rheon(Maximus). Inhumans is based on the lesser known marvel comics by the same name and follows the story of gifted people with amazing abilities. The first two episodes were released in IMAX theatres as a film and on Sep 29 it aired on the network ABC and there are a total of 8 episodes only. I saw the first two episodes and there’s no doubt that it is horrible. Sadly this show is a part of the MCU. Coincidentally Inhumans is created by the same guy(Scott Buck) who also did Iron Fist, another marvel flop. I don’t understand why Marvel gave him any more work. Inhumans is easily the worst tv show I’ve ever seen. Apparently the developers had only six weeks to finish the first two episodes to be released in IMAX theatres and it shows in the finished product. The production is very rushed and everything looks cheap and lame. From the set design and costumes to the CGI to the acting to the script to the fight scenes, so pretty much everything is horrendous. The acting is very bland just like the set design of Attilan(Inhuman city on the moon). Its not that the actors are bad, atleast not all of them but its the content given to them is bad. I knew and so did so many other people that Inhumans was doomed since they released the first picture of the Royal family which I have uploaded with this review. The one redeemable factor to this show is Lockjaw, the giant CGI dog who is very cute but is barely there for a minute. Even the Title card animation at the start looks like a 5 year old made that on Photoshop. The action is very lame and is badly directed is a bore to watch. Almost a year ago there were talks of an Inhumans movie which was then scrapped and I hated that they decided to do a show instead of a film which would be so much better. I hope they improve it the next season and thats "if"there’s a second season which is highly unlikely. I wouldn’t recommend this show if there was a gun to my head. I’d rather die. I give Marvel’s Inhumans 0.5/5 stars. Please don’t waste your time on this.
