Well they give recipes to the contestants to make dishes, did u see they had papers with recipes for the cake. I mean how can someone be a master chef if u give them recipes to make food( in the rasgulla cake episode judges even say"recipe aapke saamne hai" pointing towards a piece of paper. There is lack of creativity.
It was funny when one of the contestants said, "itne bade churi to maine pehle baar parki hai". Personally I use that kinda knife too often at my home.
When the chefs asked the contestants, how many of u know how to make rasgullas, no one said they do. they were given the recipes to do so. lol Indian master chefs, funny.
This is such a crappy show.
When they said rasgulla cake, I thought they modified the recipe for cake n this is some innovation, it was just the regular cake with rasgulla and fruits in the icing, lol. OMG, why r they trying to bring a bad name to the good cooks in India by selecting people who dun know how to cook, and then the judges go up to them n keep telling them what to do , how to do.
Judges:
They are rude, they sometimes give wired examples to the participants.
They sometimes bring dishes for contestants to replicate, and sometimes those dishes have oil floating on the top.
Sometimes both of them look too stiff
While the contestants are working on the dish that too in a given time span, judges keep going to them
and sometimes tells them what should be done next, c’mon judges the show is called MasterChef India, let them cook what they know.
As for Aksay Kumar he sometimes get too over the board n somestimes too harsh.
