I would like to share my opinions about the movie Masterpiece.The movie is a Malayalam language thriller film directed by Ajai Vasudev and written by Uday Krishna.I have seen this movie in INOX Sobha city mall in Thrissur.Masterpiece is a festival release movie of Mammootty.
The plot of the movie is set in Travancore Maharajas college, a typical campus we seen in a lot of films.Its the story about two group of students in the campus who keep clashing with each other for different reasons.The role of Mammootty is a professor named Edward Livingstone.We can easily know similarity of the plot with another recently released film.It also has so many cliche scenes.There are so many fight scenes, but they are very unreal dramatic actions.Especially in the second half of the film.Mammootty’s character says’I respect women’ in too many scenes.I wondered why it is heavily used in each scene.Masterpiece lacks the kick of a commercial, festival release.I don"t want to see this type of cliche films.so, I am really disappointed.
