In The Game, Michael Douglas is a rich character who has forgotten to be nice to anyone, even to himself. His loser-brother Sean Penn presents him with a ticket for a game, a game which in the end takes away everything he has and destroys him completely. And then he is grateful and thanks his brother for this kind of education.
I found The Game to be indecent, to say the least. You simply don?t treat anyone like this, not even your worst enemy. And: this brother didn?t even try to talk to him, didn?t even try to convince him.
Well, Masti reminds me of The Game. Of course, it?s not so mean and meant to be comic, but this is not my idea of humour at all. In the case of these three guys, stupid and ridiculous as they were, I would have divorced my wife for this breach of trust. True, they behaved like idiots and started to be disloyal, but still such means are not justified.
What about talking? I think it was premjit who wrote that these guys should have asked s.x of their wives. Yes, but then these wives should have also talked to their husbands about the planned affairs.
And then the gay jokes. What is so funny about being gay? To me, a gay person is just as normal as you and me.
Sorry, Masti was no masti.
