Sunny Leone is back to entertain the audience with her skin show and her first adult comedy has been titled as Mastizaade. Tushar Kapoor, Vir Das, Suresh Menon and Shaad Randhawa played the other lead roles in the film which has been directed by Milap Zaveri. The recently released theatrical trailer is a massive hit all over and the expectations are huge on the film. Sunny Leone will be seen sporting 27 bikins in the film which is the major highlight of the movie. Meet Bros Anjjan, Amaal Malik, Anand Raj Anand and Sanjoy Chowdary composed the music for the film and Pritish Nandy, Rangita Pritish Nandy produced Mastizaade on PNC Productions in association with Panorama Studios and Pen Movies. The movie has been slated for release on January 29th all over.
Story:
Mastizaade is the story of Laila and Lilly(both played by Sunny Leone in a dual role) who are sisters and they run a sex addiction rehabilation centre by profession. Laila is quite modern and looks sexy in small outfits showing offer her assets while the later is geeky and prefers traditional clothes wearing spectacles. Two friends Sunny Kele(Tushar Kapoor) and Aditya Chotya(Vir Das) run an advertising agency named XXX which makes sex themed commercials. The friends fall in love with the sisters Laila and Lily and the rest of the film is how they impress their partners. Watch Mastizaade to know about the rest.
Analysis:
The first half of the film has a mix of some funny and non-funny episodes using the characters of Laila and Lily. Sunny Leone has been showcased in a bikini in every second scene which brings the feel of overdose of glamour. Most of the episodes shares double meaning thoughts and many entertaining sequences have been borrowed from trending social networking jokes. The first half has been filled with full length skin show of Sunny Leone without any concept.
The second half too maintains the same momentum and the dose of glamour. You cannot ignore Sunny Leone in the movie as she will be present in every scene of the film. The movie is a treat for Sunny’s fans as the film is filled with cleavage show and a bikini treat. Some of the episodes have been extended too much and some characters have been placed without any logic. On the whole the second half of Mastizaade too offers nothing except Sunny Leone’s skin show all over.
Performance:
Sunny Leone is a treat for the audience and she has performed both the characters with lot of ease and perfection. She has been shown in the best glamorous way in Mastizaadeand one cannot ignore her if watched. Tushar Kapoor has become the brand for adult comedies and he contributed his best as per the assigned character. Vir Das is stunning and surprising with his comedy timing. He makes the audience laugh at times though he has not been used completely. All the other actors have been decent with their roles.
The story of the movie has nothing much to reveal and if asked the makers wanted to showcase Sunny Leone in the most glamorous way on main screen. The screenplay and the dialogues lost pace when they have concentrated much on skin show and adult episodes. The music has been decent, apt and so is the background score. The cinematography has been quite colorful and Bangkok has been shown beautifully. The production values have been grand and the makers have spent a bomb on the costumes of Sunny Leone. Milap Zaveri’s intention was to comeout with a film cashing the craze of Sunny Leone but he fails in all the other aspects as he neglected them.
Positives:
Sunny Leone
Vir Das
Negatives:
Story, Screenplay
Direction
Second Half
Final Word:
Mastizaade is a film that can be ignored completely if one expects something except Sunny Leone’s glamour which is known to the world.
