As we all plan a weekend on hillstation’s and other beautiful places.
last week me and my friend’s have planed a small trip of matherran for only 3 day’s .
it was a holiday for 3 days weekend(friday, satuday and sunday) and we all have decide to go for a trip on matheran for 3 days .
we all were 5 people including me .
HOW TO REACH?
you can go from train(central line) towards karjat and kasara,
that traiin will take you too NERAL railway station from where you will get a car or a small train which only runs on mountain and it is speacially build for matheran . as we have been there in winter . due to some issue we were not able to use that small train .so have traveled from mini van which we get from outside the neral railway station . from mubai it takes 4 to 5 hours to reach Matheran haill station.
the mini van will take till the enterance of matheran but not exactly to matheran . where the van drop you from there you have to travel for 2-3 km .depends on you you can get there via horses or by walking . we all have to walk over the hills and have the thrilling of mountain trecking .we have reached matheran at 12:30 pm so after geting there we booked our hotels and had rest for 2 hrs . after that our trip started .
DAY 1: we had a lunch and reached the points which were in walkable distance we had a lot of fun we have visited two points one was monkey pointand another was sunset point(as it was the end of the day) we had great fun on both the points.
after that we get back to our hotels and had after that we have gone to the market which was near by our hotels . in market there is one garden, we a had enjoyed alot in that garden .and after it was almost 9:30 pm we had our dinner and went to our hotels to get some sleep .
DAY 2: it was an amazing day we all got up early on the morning and get ourselves ready .we had booked 5 horses for the day .and we were going to travel to 6 points on the same day .
we start our ride from the main market of matheran .we first visited king gorge point and second echo point .it was amazing experiance on echo point we used to shout in the vally and in front of mountain and the comes back to us it was amzing experiance .than we moved panorama point following more two
points . at the end we came back to our hotels and had our food and gone to sleep as we all were tired of all day .
DAY 3: we wake up earlyin the morning for sunrise point we got ready for the day and packed our bag as it was the last day of our trip .we checked out from hotels and went to sun rise point .it was an amazing experiance of get a view of sun in morning 6:20am it was an amazing view between two hills the sun was rising slowly. after we get back to neral railway station and started our jouney back to our home.
matheran is the best hill station to visit for a small vacation.
