MARTIX Mob-NEVER TRY POST PAID INTERNATIONAL SIM

Last October, with 3 SIM cards in a corporate plan, four of us went to Japan. We all used the three phones in turn, when one lost battery etc.

Matrix Mobile- No mode to verify the usage or billing when you use the postpaid, we tried. They say that only at the final billing they can give you the details.

Early part of November we got the lightening shock of the life. One phone with more than Rs.36000 bill. 80 Yen per minute and the incoming free was the corporate plan. Other two bills for small amount was done as per the plan, the phone which we used extensively was billed at 200 yen/min., nearly three times than what we expected.

Matrix issue postpaid SIM attached to your credit card and within short time before we could resolve the issues they collected the money from the card without our knowledge.

Now Matrix says that we are dialed the direct access number instead of the budget dialing codes for the 80yen/minute offer. Then how come the excess bill only in one SIM, no answer for that.

For all our appeals the same answer, "Verified the detailed bills, it confirms that you dialed the direct numbers without the access codes."

Dear Mr. Jacob,

This is in reference to the below mail.

We would like to inform you that we discussed the concern with management, they have confirmed that the charges are according to the dialing procedure used while initiating outgoing calls, therefore we will not be able to refund/re-rate the bill.

We anticipate your kind understanding in this regard.

Thanks & Regards,

Yogita Yadav.

There is no method, even with Matrix, to verify whether you done correct or otherwise. Still we do not know how four of us who used the three phones can dial the mistake only in one particular phone? Matrix is not ready to share any details on the network supporter in Japan.

We are trapped with the money lost, so those who are going for the Matrix postpaid international SIM, understand that you are helpless and Matrix will loot you, without any mercy.

It is said that, as the Reserve Bank Rules 2012, the deduction of money from the credit card without our knowledge is not approved, do not know how to go further in this. I am just probing the possibilities.

Secondly, are these networks are approved by the TRAI or others who manage the telecom operation in India.

Any learned person who can give me a hand of support is always welcome.
