The Matrix Trilogy

When THE MATRIX came out in 1999, the only reason I went to watch the movie was to find out what all the hype was about. And going to a movie without know what to expect has it’s plus points. Not only did I enjoy being welcomed to the world of the Matrix, I also loved the theory of the movie.

Four years later I have seen the complete trilogy of the matrix, and I can simply say that i’m impressed. Although many people may say that Matrix Reloaded was the best (and I do quite agree), what they do not understand is a trilogy is meant to be appreciated as a whole. On seeing a trilogy you must not compare one movie with the other but you must realise the effect that all the movies had on you - as one.

The makers of the Matrix Trilogy have understood this concept and thus you see it in their movies. All the three movies have a very close rating. All score well on quality, idea, and special effects. And so even if the third movie has not been appreciated as well as the second was, on an average, The matrix trilogy has been a successful hit.

If you have not watched Matrix Revolutions because reviews say that it is not as good as Matrix reloaded, then I suggest you watch it. Just make sure you come to the theatre without expectations so that you’re in for a good surprise. And if you haven’t watched a single part of the trilogy, then do not try to watch all three in the same day. Instead, sit back, relax, and wait for machines to take over the world. And when they do, may be then you will realise that you are the one.
