Yawn ...

We were the few lucky ones who were invited for a special premiere of the Matrix Revolutions in the Dome at the Imax Adlabs. Or should I say the few unlucky ones!!

Matrix whether you love it or hate it, you certainly can’t ignore it. But you tend to feel no speical emotions when you are watching the film in the dome. For the simple reason that it ain’t a dome film.

The better part of the film - the talkie portion - is like watching a tennis match. sitting in the dome anyways gives you and your neck a tough time and imagine if you had to swing your head from one end of the screen to the other to hear two people talking....

The film begins on a very slow note. With Keanu being stuck in between worlds - the human world and the machine world - if you please... finds his way out by yapping.

The Matrix Revolutions is probably the worst part in the three part series of the Matrix.

The talkie as I said is way too much and too boring. The action sequences are the only relief points in the film. Not for the impact they create but more for the awe they manage to put you into. The effort that must have gone into creating those sequences leaves you absolutely spellbound.

THe love angle in the film doesn’t spark any emotion in you either. And to add to that the hero going blind - what is that about?

The reason that the film has been released worldwide simultaneously is quite apparent now. For if they would have waited - the audiences would have seen the film on the vcd and dismissed it already.

So dear non US citizens, please don’t feel glad that we have the opportunity to watch the film at the earliest - for it certainly ain’t worth it.
