I went to Mauritius for my honeymoon in Feb’13. It was pathetic place to go and spend Rs 2 lacs on the whole trip, only on lodging and sightseeing. It was booked from D’Pauls.
The Hotel was Inter-continental. Better to explore Europe or New Zealand or some other island like Maldives. Neither the hotel staff was courteous nor the guide.
The guide was just after trying to take our money out every time. In all, it was a pathetic experience.
