These provides life insurance cover in case of sudden demise of policy holder & if the policy holder survives till maturity, he will be some maturity amount. Returns of this plan are limited upto 5 to 6% only. Agents commits something else & result comes out to something different. It’s better to go for FD of any bank & buy a term plan separately. Duration of Endowment plans are usually long in nature. A term plan usually has low premium but there is not any maturity amount given at the time of completion of the policy.
