I surrendered my policy more than a year back, yet to receive the money, in the meantime I have moved due to my job. Every time I call customer support I am asked to submit some new document, which mysteriously disappear from their records next time I call.
Be aware terrible customer support, so if you need help after purchasing the policy you will get none. I have no idea how many more time I have to go to their offices to get my money back. When it comes to collecting the premiums they will cal you thousand times, the surrender value of my scheme was really low, should have read the fine print. LIC and others are not such thugs.
