Ive been using Great Lash Mascara since I was a teenager, and though Ive tried other brands, I keep coming back. Great Lash is simply the best mascara Ive found.
The mascara is available in a regular and waterproof version. I prefer the regular, as waterproof is more difficult to remove. The regular formula is good if youre lazy or forgetful, because it just naturally wears off over time if you dont remove it. I can leave it on when I go to bed, and by morning most of it is gone, but theres enough left on my lashes to provide a good base for a new coat if I want to apply more. Im terrible at remembering to remove eye makeup, and after decades of wearing Great Lash 24 hours a day, Ive noticed no negative effects on my lashes or my eyes.
Its available in a number of colors, ranging from black to light brown. It goes on very easily, and even the sparsest lashes require no more than two coats to plump up nicely. Great Lash provides volume and length, without containing all those little micro fibers that can be disastrous for contact lens wearers like myself. Though I use the non-waterproof formula, it still holds up well to moisture. A good cry will moisten the mascara, and it will come off on your fingers or a tissue if you touch your lashes, but you will NOT end up with those horrible raccoon eyes from it running down your face. If your lashes get wet, simply avoid touching them until they dry again, and youre as good as new. Great lash manages to give great coverage without making your lashes end up looking like spikey little spider legs.
With so many brands and formulas of mascara out there, its easy to become confused about which one is best, and sometimes its even hard to remember which kind youre actually using when youre standing in front of the 342 different kinds of mascara on display. They all kind of look alike after a while. Great Lash is readily recognizable with its pink tube and bright green top, so you dont have to worry about getting home and discovering that youve purchased the wrong kind. Mascaras come, and mascaras go, but Great Lash has been around for at least 22 years. Now thats staying power!
