Growing up, almost every friday evening, my family and I would pile in the mini-van and head to our local McDonald`s.What stuck in my mind the most was the cleanliness of the restaurant as well as the smiling faces behind the counter ready to assist you.I don`t really recall the quality of the food but I do remember the cool little toys in there signature Happy Meals. Those were my golden years at the Golden Arches. Now as an adult, I find myself enjoying the quality of the food and not enjoying the ambience. The faces behind the counter are not very pleasant and I also refuse to dine in due to the filth that surrounds me.Maybe I keep going back hoping to recapture my youth. The food is great for all but in my humble opinion, the kids can have it.
