McDonalds is pretty much your average fast food chain. With an array of burgers, french fries, kids meals, and salads it offers nothing more, and in some cases less, than other fast food restaurants.
The prices at McDonalds are higher than Taco Bell and lower than both Roy Rogers and Burger King. The only downfall to this is that in most cases, you pay for what you get. Obviously a $0.79 hamburger isnt going to be very large and might not be of the best quality, but its warm cheap food, and that is the point of a fast food restaurant, isnt it?
The decor and playgrounds of McDonalds are pretty much those of a bland Burger King in my opinions. Instead of having brightly coloured tables and chairs, the furniture is in pastel and muted tones with flowers on the windowsills and some of the tables. The play area at my local McDonalds is relatively small and outdoors, but most of the kids seem to enjoy it.
Then theres the new slogan, We love to see you smile. I always used to have problems getting the correct order, but in the past six months or so this problem has completely disappeared. The servers and cashiers are all very nice and patient and smile non-stop, which can get a bit unnerving sometimes. The service is also very prompt and the food is usually served anywhere from room temperature to scalding hot.
Overall Id much rather go to Burger King than McDonalds and pay more for a better burger.
