The big mac has failed to replicate its value for money business principle in the sub- continent for many reasons. The prices are on the increase in new and innovative means, these kind of tricks may fool a customer once but not always. Especially the ’’value for money’’ combo packages are a rip off. the board says that upgrade from a small combo pack to a medium combo pack for just Rs 10/-, then when the order is served the guy gives u a small burger with a large coke and french fries. on enquiry he says tht the upgrade is only for the french fries and the coke .can u beat that. 80/` Rs is not a small deal in India, only the upper middle clasS and above and afford it on any regular basis. So if Mac wants a sustainable position in India he better think of something innovative, even his quality seems to be slipping bit in my opinion that is. Has failed my expectations after my experience in the US with Mac this is a let down.
