Even if the biscuits used whole grains and some insignificant amounts of dietary fiber, where does the heart health feature in all this? how
They dont carry any significant amount of Omega 3 fatty acids or even for that matter dietary fiber .if there is significant anything its sugar and sodium.
Dont go by tags .
Infact if a label says its healthy its actually otherwise
Marketing is glorifying the half truth.
Even whole grains are now not considered very healthy by some health gurus as the modern wheat was genetically modified way back in 1960s and 70s .
The protein content was altered and its no surprise many suffer from gluten and wheat sensitivity .
I am still gonna give it a 3 star rating as its better than most biscuits like Parle G .
If you really want to add fiber in your life add some fresh fruits and salads.
Infact if you love biscuits and cookies with tea .you can make the shift to stuff like peanuts, cashews and pistachios, roasted and spiced with condiments that even spurr the metabolism .
or go with biscuits that use nuts and seeds and figs liberally .
I am fond of one such cookie sold on amazon india - its a cashew figs cookie .
We also find some premium cookies that are sweetened with apple puree again on the same website, may also be available on ebay and shop clues I guess .
In a nutshell these biscuits are not bad but we have a whole lot of better healthier stuff around and to link it to heart health is outrageous.
well walnuts did I tell you is something thats truly heart healthy.just good to know information.
what you really needs is good quality proteins and fats through nuts and seeds .to go with your tea or as a snack.
Happy eating whole foods and not any food like substance pretending to be healthy .
