Ek Aur MASALA...................................

As I was getting my monthly grocery, I chanced upon this new **MDH TAVA FRY** **MASALA **on the shelf of a swanky super market. Having tried various Indian masalas, my taste buds were very curious to experiment this one too.

We Indians are die- hard FOODIE!!! No matter how much we talk about eating **Healthy and Nutritious Diet** and even follow it, yet we simply gorge on the   platter when served with   traditional cuisine normally enriched with heavy and rich ingredients and the tadka of exotic masalas!!!!

I have seen many methods of cooking and one such is done on the Tava. Normally tavas are best for making Paav-Bhaji, cutlets, tikkis etc and Indian breads like rotis, naans, dosas etc. But I was quite amused to see a chef preparing **STUFFED vegetables** on the TAVA itself in a wedding buffet. This was indeed surprising as we normally use the **evergreen Kadai** for multi purpose.

Ever since I had seen this, I always wanted to try out the same in my kitchen. Fortunately, when I saw this brand of masala, I knew that this one deserved to be picked up. I was quick enough to get my favorite **okras (bhindis)** and get on with my job.

**MDH Tava Fry **is basically for the **Barwaan** (stuffed) Vegetables. It has perfect blend of all the spices like cumin, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, salt, nutmeg, dry ginger, cassia, mace, dry mango, black pepper, coriander, cloves that will surely enhance the vegetable to be cooked.

Once the bhindis are slit and filled with masalas, place them on the heated tava with little oil. Do shallow fry by turning them till they become tender. U can go further to roast them and give them the **Karari punch**!!! Once done, strain it and serve it with Indian breads and fresh curds. This awesome dish will melt down ur mouth and the sumptuous taste will linger long……

One can always stuff this masala on Karela, Brinjal, Lotus stems etc. Its very CHATPATA and not the spicy kind. So if u are in a mood to savor something exciting, MDH Tava Fry Masala is a sure try!!!

Bon Appetite!
