Meghana Foods is not a place I would generally visit. I happened to be in the area for some work and it was past lunch time and I was starved. Due to limited options I had to go this restaurant.
Let me begin with the décor and ambience. It is far from classy so please don’t go with high expectations. The interior is simple but thankfully they have kept it clean. I quickly browsed through mouthshut and found no reviews on the place, made a mental note to write one and surfed through other websites before placing an order for Mutton Biryani and Chicken 65. These two were the most recommended dishes on the web.
Not so surprisingly, the food arrived quickly. People at Meghana’s do not give least importance to presentation which was instantly noticeable. I gingerly took a bite of the chicken 65 which was actually good and the mutton biryani was not bad either. They could have cooked the mutton a little longer I felt but it was honestly not bad.
Lesson learned – Appearance can be deceptive. As promised(to myself) here is my review for mouthshut. I would say, if you are in the vicinity give Meghana Foods a try.
