Well, starting with the location of the college, situated in southern part of Calcutta, ruby. It is around 3-4 kms from ruby hospital towards ananadapur, landmark- Urbana housing complex.
The college is well maintained and clean infrastructure. Basic facilities like library, reading room, canteen, common room, etc., are provided. No playground that is a negative point.
Talking about the teacher staff, they are professional and highly qualified. But I would really appreciate if they can be a little friendly with the students. No doubt they posses good knowledge and good teaching skills. Now coming to the placement records, we the people of Calcutta are much aware with the fact that there is a lack of job. Being honest the placement record for civil engineers are good(MSIT is best for civil engineering). Apart from that, the placement record is average. MSIT comes under as one of the finest colleges of Techno India.
The college also oraganizes cultural programme(Paridhi), technical fests, etc. Then there is sports league including cricket and football named as MSL(Meghnad saha league). It may not have a great campus life, but probably it’s not even the worst to live in.
