The grass is greener on the other side of the Taj

Yet again, one from my Agra diaries(I still have a lot of places to write about). This place is just across the Taj, in fact this place gives a good vantage point for amateur photographers to get some good long shots of the Taj especially during the sunrise and the sunset, it would be great if you plan accordingly if you have a knack for photography.

Accessibility - A 15 min rickshaw drive from the Taj, this is one spot my guide wanted me to visit as I said I was interested in photography and there are many restrictions inside the Taj compound. Remember the rickshaw ride from here should not cost more than 75-80, do not trust the drivers they ask for more once they know you are new to the place.

Local Sightseeing - I am amazed at the way the entire garden has been laid out, it complements the Taj very well and I got to know that both were planned at the same time. The planning is so astute at if you get to view its blueprint you will notice that everything from the Taj Mahal complex to the gardens have the same width and is almost symmetric.(Almost because I think a part of it was left incomplete by the looks of it). There has been some degradation due to floods in the eastern part. The best time to photograph is during the morning fog, its absolutely breath taking.

You will have a fun time roaming around here, a must visit place especially because it is stone throw away from the Taj
